History
Nearly a century of experience with a focus on the future: that is Schouten & Visschers. In 1933, Mr. H. Schouten and Mr. A. Visschers founded the company N.V. Stamp- & Trekwerk Epe. Their enterprise focused mainly on the production of road studs, pram wheels, various metal components, and the in-house forging of the tools needed for this work.
Our history is one of innovation and collaboration. Since our founding in 1933, we have evolved into a high-quality manufacturer of metal components and semi-finished products.
Our people
Without our people, we are nothing. And we are proud of that: our people are our greatest asset. From engineers to logistics experts and from machinists to welders, we share a common pride in what we do and always strive for the best possible result.
Versatile and innovative
At Schouten & Visschers, we make a significant contribution to the solutions our customers rely on. As a versatile specialist in metalworking, we can apply many different production techniques.
Our factory is equipped with an extensive range of machinery. This enables us to perform stamping, deep drawing, laser cutting, sheet metal working, bending, machining, and robotic welding. All these techniques allow us to manufacture even the most complex assembled products entirely in-house.
We have our own toolmaking department, where we produce progressive dies and welding and milling fixtures fully tailored to our customers’ needs.
Sustainability
Sustainable operations are important to our organisation. One of our greatest strengths in the area of sustainability is that we master many different techniques. As a result, we can carry out a wide range of processes and assemblies in-house, reducing unnecessary transport and CO₂ emissions.
Our factory hall is fully covered with solar panels, enabling us to generate as much of our own energy as possible.
