Process change leads to cost reduction
Sometimes a small adjustment in the manufacturing process can have a major impact. For one of our customers, we produce welded frames with weld nuts. These bolt–nut connections allow for easy assembly of the final product. When we replaced the weld nuts with press-in nuts, we achieved a 10% annual cost reduction. For this customer, that amounts to 100,000 euros per year! Thanks to this process change, production became faster, lowering costs while maintaining the same high quality.
